SILVER CREEK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Cass County Sheriff's Deputies believe alcohol may have been a factor in a crash where a motorist left the roadway, drove through a yard, and crashed into the side of a residence. It happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning, May 30 on Old M-62 near Hunt Drive in Silver Creek Township. Investigators say the 29-year-old driver from Mishawaka Indiana suffered minor injuries which were evaluated on site, and refused further treatment. No one inside of the residence was injured.
